Working within a global organization and customer community and in cooperation with other Engineering functions, the Reliability Engineer is responsible to ensure a proper execution of tests including in the DVP&R, as well as other R&D tests

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support to R&T engineers to analyze the feasibility of scheduled tests.
  • Periodic scheduling of the assigned test benches.
  • Monitoring of the planning, ensuring that the flow of tasks is continuous and that the plan is adhered to.
  • Procurement of test material, not only for the test itself, but also for any consumables required for the test bench.
  • Technical feasibility analysis prior to each test. Review of test conditions.
  • Support during the tests for assembly, automation and obtaining results.
  • Execution of highly complex tests when the technician is not capable.
  • Support in breakdowns, maintenance and improvements of test benches.
  • Supervision of safety measures to ensure tests are completely safe.
  • Responsible for the management of the procedures and the quality of the assigned tests. Supervision of the generated documentation. Support in the management of documentation to meet our quality standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required, Mechatronics or Electronics preferred.
  • Must have good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Microsoft office user level, advanced with Excel. 
  • Spanish&English fluent, German is highly valuable.
  • Test and Validation Automotive experience or Industrial environment valuable.
